Robinson Helicopters Issued an R44 Safety Alert For C016-7 Main Rotor Blade Crack
Robinson Helicopter Issued a Safety Alert today for their C016-7 Main Rotor Blade.

This is in response to a fatal accident in Queenstown New Zealand that led to the grounding of all R44s with the -7 Main Rotor blades by the New Zealand Cival Aviatio Authority (CAA). In January the CAA issued a continuing airworthiness notice advising of possible in flight failure of the blades.
Hopefully we will hear something more from Robinson on this at HeliExpo March 3-5 in Orlando Florida.
